So my next entry will be.............The Royal Wedding- Princess Sarah gets married! I know you all CAN'T WAIT for it!
So nearly everyone from abroad arrived on the weekend of my hen party... with the culmination being on the Sunday evening when there were 14 of us staying in our house... needless to say it was jam packed. But with all the worker bees between our two families, Benedikt and I were totally relaxed. Well I was anyway!

So, after the hen party weekend the next step was getting to da beach! That in itself was a logistical challenge, with 14 of us (plus 2 dogs) travelling at the same time.

And so the holiday began....

The dogs LOVED their holiday:

Mealtimes at the great big table were fantastic:
So every day we'd go for a run in the morning... then do a workout in the evening:

On the friday before the wedding we did water aerobics - Nicola took that. It was very attended - about 10 screaming ladies in the pool! After the wedding I lost interest in the classes so they didnt really happen. After all I can get fat now, I'm MARRIED.
So then it was time for wedding preperations. It was AMAZING to have a whole team of very efficient and willing helpers. I really recommend the way we did our wedding, Benedikt and I just delegated everything and were able to completely relax on the day!
The day after the wedding we went a very cool boat ride:

And, breaking news!! Nicolas took his first steps on the beach while we were away! Benedikt was witness to this event. And the next day he did it for me too. The day before he became 10 months old - VERY exciting!
And finally, getting back home for everyone:
So once we were back in Nairobi we took Tina and Philip and their boys to the elephant orphange and to the giraffe centre which they both LOVED. We took them to the Triangle craft market in Westlands which was a real test of their bargaining skills. Tina stuck with me as I have become quite good at it over these past 2 years. We went out for dinner one evening with Heinz and Irene. And the next evening with Tina and Philip.
On the Saturday we had a cool barbecue and Roland and Naoko came over. Then the germans all left that night! Boohoo. Tina and Philip couldnt thank us enough for their holiday, I think they loved every minute of it.
My mum and sister had gone off to Ol pajeto for the weekend to stay with Collin and LOVED it. They came back with plenty of stories of rhino darting, game drives and KCs!
Then my mum flew home, on the Monday the 30th, more sadness. BUT my sister stayed for another week - WOOHOO!! Wow, we loved having her here.
